在雷達導航設備中,其發(fā)射部分一般都需要一高電壓、窄脈沖、不同重復頻率的強功率脈沖源。這種強功率脈沖源一般通過一個高壓電源將市電升為幾千伏至幾十千伏直流高壓,然后由一個調制器將直流高壓調制為所需脈寬及頻率的脈沖源以供發(fā)射管使用。
脈沖源主要由高壓電源及調制器部分組成,高壓電源采用開關穩(wěn)壓電源,調制器采用半導體器件的固態(tài)調制器。
使用方給出的觸發(fā)脈沖是TTL電平的信號,應在輸入隔離變壓器前增加接口電路,此接口電路一是為了預放大TTL脈沖信號,二是為了與隔離變壓器匹配。為了達到隔離的目的,使用方可提供此接口電路的電源,制造方只需提出電源需求并在電路中設計相應的變換、濾波電路即可。
觸發(fā)脈沖經過脈沖變壓器隔離后經過預調器脈沖整形,功率放大后去觸發(fā)調制板和截尾板工作。由預調器產生的激勵脈沖經過變壓器隔離去驅動調制板的每一只場效應管,此時調制板導通高壓電源送到微波三極管的陽極,微波三極管的陰極電子開始發(fā)射,微波三極管將送入輸入端的小功率高頻信號放大成大功率的高頻信號。當脈沖結束時,由預調器產生的截尾脈沖去觸發(fā)截尾板,截尾板導通后將微波三極管的分布電容釋放,所以可以得到很好的脈沖后沿。
