菌種保存管主要由保存液、保存管和小瓷珠三部分組成，它是一種實驗室保存菌種的容器，用于菌種的保存或者轉移，一般菌種保存管內有25顆小瓷珠用于細菌的吸附和保存。使用過程中，將細菌接種在保存管內，放置于-20℃或-80℃環(huán)境中可*保存。(-20℃可保存一年，-80℃可保存兩年)。

⑴ 從細菌純培養(yǎng)物中挑取新鮮培養(yǎng)物配成大約為3-4麥氏比濁度的菌懸液接種與菌種保存管中。
⑵ 擰緊保存管，來回顛倒4-5次使細菌乳化，不能旋搖
⑶ 把保存管放入冰箱保存(-20℃--70℃)
