普洛麥格公司的雙熒光素酶報(bào)告基因(DLR™)檢測(cè)系統(tǒng)為雙報(bào)告基因檢測(cè)提供有效手段。在DLR™ 檢測(cè)中， 螢火蟲(chóng)(Photinus pyralis)熒光素酶和海腎(Renilla reniformis)熒光素酶可在單個(gè)樣品中連續(xù)測(cè)量。測(cè)量過(guò)程是：加入熒光素酶檢測(cè)試劑II (LARII)產(chǎn)生螢火蟲(chóng)熒光信號(hào)，信號(hào)持續(xù)至少1 分鐘，這樣先測(cè)量螢火蟲(chóng)熒光素酶報(bào)告基因。定量螢火蟲(chóng)熒光強(qiáng)度之后，再在同一樣品中加入Stop & Glo® 試劑，將上述反應(yīng)猝滅，并同時(shí)啟動(dòng)海腎熒光素酶反應(yīng)， 同時(shí)進(jìn)行第二次測(cè)量。如果使用帶有試劑自動(dòng)注射器的熒光發(fā)光計(jì)，兩個(gè)檢測(cè)可在4秒內(nèi)完成。在DLR™檢測(cè)系統(tǒng)中， 兩個(gè)報(bào)告基因產(chǎn)生的線性檢測(cè)范圍均在小于10-18摩爾的靈敏度范圍內(nèi)， 兩個(gè)報(bào)告基因在實(shí)驗(yàn)宿主細(xì)胞內(nèi)均無(wú)內(nèi)源活性。另外，此系統(tǒng)中一體化形式的雙熒光素酶檢測(cè)既可快速定量檢測(cè)轉(zhuǎn)染細(xì)胞，也可用于快速定量檢測(cè)無(wú)細(xì)胞轉(zhuǎn)錄/翻譯反應(yīng)體系中的兩個(gè)報(bào)告基因。
普洛麥格公司的合成海腎基因phRL系列：普洛麥格公司曾為雙熒光素酶報(bào)告基因（DLR™）檢測(cè)系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)了螢火蟲(chóng)熒光素酶報(bào)告基因載體和野生型海腎報(bào)告基因載體pRL系列。phRL和pRL系列載體均提供海腎熒光素酶的組成性表達(dá)，可與任何實(shí)驗(yàn)用螢火蟲(chóng)熒光素酶載體組合，共同轉(zhuǎn)染哺乳動(dòng)物細(xì)胞。
